They posted Twitter updates and Facebook photos of each other as a couple, but police now believe the lovers are killers and traded dozens of text messages in May about their plans to kill a man before bludgeoning him to death with a sledgehammer.
Police say they killed Dennis (Scooter) Abrahamsen at his Tampa-area home. He was a tattoo artist and authorities claim he had hired Amanda Logue to work a party for him as a prostitute and that set the wheels in motion for a plot hatched by the pair.
United Press International reports authorities allege Andrews and his girlfriend, Amanda Logue, plotted to stab Abrahamson to death during an all-night sex party as Abrahamson’s Port Richey home in order to rob him.
Abrahamsen wound up dead, $6,000 was missing and the two suspects were no where to be found, though police now have both in custody.
Logue, 28, was arrested shortly after the slaying and Andrews was recently found and arrested in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
